Tiswas reunited - did you see?

Did anyone catch the Tiswas Reunion on tv last weekend?

Pure nostalgia – Compost Corner, Spit the Dog, The cage, Phantom Flan Flinger and more.

ATV's Tiswas was the first full length Saturday morning TV show for kids and was produced by Chris Tarrant. It starred Chris himself, Sally James, Lenny Henry, Bob Carolgees and regulars like Frank Carson and Sylvester Mycoy (remember his Werewolf act?).

I watched it with my 11 year old son, not sure if he'd laugh or not. Well, in the end, we both sat there laughing like drains. 25 years on and it was still as funny as I'd remembered it.

A colleague rued that he'd never been allowed to watch it and had to sneak round to friends houses to watch it but keep flicking over to Noel on the BBC just so he could recount what he'd supposed to have watched.

Quite funny really, Tiswas had a slight anarchic feel to it and at school, you were either a Tiswas or a Swap Shop camp.
