What exactly does sub-surface engraving mean? Are their any joins in the crystal?
I'm interested in purchasing one for a colleague who is retiring in April. What is the delivery time on this item?

Thank you for your interest in our new engraved crystal range.
Your photo and/or text is engraved into the middle of the block of crystal using the sub-surface engraving method - the finished engraving appears 'suspended' amidst the crystal item you've ordered.
There are no visible joins in the block of crystal itself.
The delivery time on our engraved crystals is 7 days, so you should be in plenty of time for an April delivery.
We'll shortly be updating the pictures we've used including some taken on the LED bases and we're even hoping to shoot a short video 360 degree view as well.
