28/09/05 - Novartis award winner Mandy collects award at London presentation

Mandy Collins was invited to the Royal Society in London to receive her award for her entry into the Novartis and Daily Telegraph Visions of Science Photographic Awards. She won an acclaimed 2nd place in the coveted Arts section after judges looked at over 5,500 entries during the summer months.

TV Presenter Dr Adam Hart-Davis, one of the judges himself, awarded the prizes at the ceremony which preceedes a UK wide tour of the winning artworks and photography.

Mandy was delighted to learn her work had won and said " This award will help firmly establish my artwork within both the art and business communities".
