Say Hi to Pippa - Richmond & Kew Magazine

We'd like to pinch a bit of your online viewing time to tell you about our friend Pippa who publishes her very own monthly community magazine for the Richmond and Kew areas of London.

Called simply Living in Richmond and Kew, Pippa's magazine showcases local businesses to the local community with the emphasis on encouraging locals residents to use the businesses on their doorstep.

It's a very worthwhile read.

So if you live in the Richmond and Kew areas, then why not pay her newly re-designed website a visit where you can read both back and current issues, catch up with her online local business directory and interact with the magazine via the Richmond and Kew Blog.

Oh, and in case you used to live in the Richmond and Kew Area, but you've since moved away, maybe you'll recognise the famous local landmark shown above?

Dust off those London Marathon pictures

The London marathon - whoever or whatever you ran for, well done for just taking part. Hopefully you've loads of pictures to remember your marathon day by but where are those pictures now? Hiding away on a hard drive, shut inside a photo album?

So why not dig those old photographs out and bring them to life to enjoy all over again by adding one to our range of fabulous photo gifts?

You'll have a great time recalling when the photograph was taken and the recipient will love their personalised one of a kind gift.

With our extended range of personalised gift ideas, it doesn't have to be a picture either. You can choose a date - special to you or the person the gift's intended for and you can all share in the magic of recounting the events on that 'special' day, over and over again.

Right now, our 1000 piece photo jigsaw is proving a very popular gift choice and we've enjoyed seeing your photo's and preparing them for printing - so many special times and so many memories.

Go on! Dust off those memory cards and take photography back to its grass roots - as a medium for sharing any occasion between friends, family or colleagues. Visit Fabulous Photo Gifts today and get personal with your photograph collection.

London Marathon theme music - a bit like 633 squadron?

We ran a very successful banner on our home page highlighting the great gift idea our photo jigsaws and clocks make when combined with your finishing photo from your London Marathon run.

The banner also added our own congratulations to all those runners taking part, including our neighbour who so far has raised more than £2000 for National Autistic Society and also the Holbrook Centre for Autism.

The reason I mention the above is that driving earlier today, Classic Fm played the 'London Marathon Theme' music. A very British piece of music I think and it always reminds me of those old war films – particularly the RAF features like Dambusters or 633 Squadron. (I know i'm showing my age here).

All in all – stirring stuff indeed and if ever a little mental lift was needed some way around the route, then humming the music to yourself can't help but inspire.

Luckily, ordering your fabulous photo gifts is a little bit easier than running a marathon. Simply choose the jigsaw puzzle or other gift of your choice, personalise it online by uploading your own photograph or image, then checkout.

Delivery is advised at 14 days for personalised jigsaw orders, although at present, we are delivering usually within 10 days.

Our new personalised Photo Clocks are normally delivered inside of 5 days.

London Marathon latest from Purple13

The London Marathon has surely become one of the greatest participation sporting events ever created.

Thousands of runners from the serious world athletes to the thousands of fund raising runners, fun runners and atheletic clubs taking part, will share the endurance of the route around some of London's most famous landmarks and tourist spots on April 22nd.

Our own neighbour is also running this year's London Marathon after finally getting her application granted – something she's been trying to do for years, and she'll be hoping to raise lots of money as well as beat a personal best. She'll be one of the 46,500 runners lucky enough to get a place from over 80,000 applicants.

A record 32,899 runners crossed the finish line in 2002.

Apart from very sore feet, all of the runners will also share something else in common – a photograph of themselves crossing the finishing line.

So what better way to create a lasting reminder of your own or a loved ones participation in the London Marathon (or any other sporting event for that matter) then having a marathon day memory made into a fabulous personalised photo gift – perhaps a photo jigsaw puzzle or why not try our newest personalised photo gift idea – the photo CD clock.

Our jigsaws are available in 13 different size and backing options from 24 piece to 2000 piece including fun fridge magnet magnetic backed jigsaws, and feature free box printing and free delivery.

Our photo CD clocks are available ready built and ready to hang, or in simple build yourself kit form. Both options come with an attractive clear acrylic stand to use as a desk clock.

Our best wishes and congratulations to all the athletes taking part in this years London Marathon and in particular to our neighbour, who's raising money for the Holbrook Centre for Autism.
